Myanmar to Resume Jewellery Exports

Myanmar is planning to export jewellery again after the second wave of the COVID-19 outbreak.

U Myo Myint, Chairperson of the Yangon Region Gold Entrepreneurs Association (YGEA) said that they are working on to export a total of 224 items of 13 different types to Japan. They are also planning to export to Korea too once the flight schedules are expanded.

“This will be the first export of Myanmar jewellery since the second wave of the COVID-19 outbreak," he said.
